Accounting Representative

Salary: $50000.00 to $55000.00 yearly

Description

Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Representative for our dynamic client in South Jersey. As the Accounting Representative, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support by reconciling and analyzing assigned ledgers, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and maintaining the accuracy of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledgers.
• Communicating any discrepancies in company invoicing both internally and externally.
• Managing and applying client and insurance carrier payments.
• Ensuring premium payments to assigned insurance carriers are made within stipulated deadlines.
• Responding to a range of accounting inquiries from internal and external clients.
• Preparing daily and monthly financial reports using the Accounting system and Excel.
• Assisting with diverse Accounting/Financial functions as required, including billing and filing.
  
  
  

Requirements

The ideal Accounting Representative should have a Bachelor's degree.

Other requirements for the Accounting Representative position include and are not limited to:

• 2 years accounting experience
• Insurance industry experience preferred
• Strong financial and accounting skills including the ability to analyze data and problem solve.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct business and perform job responsibilities with the highest level of confidentiality, discretion and trust.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail and dedication to producing an accurate and timely work product.
