We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Cibolo, Texas, for an Accounting Specialist AP/AR within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role involves providing comprehensive support to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as maintaining the General Ledger and performing budgetary analysis.Responsibilities• Accurately process accounts payable and receivable • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts• Analyze and track company spending and expenditures• Perform budget vs actual analysis and provide reports to management• Handle reporting of financial results• Aid in the preparation of financial reporting packages• Assist in the management of the company spending approval process• Conduct balance sheet and profit & loss analytics• Provide necessary documentation for both internal and external audit requests• Assist in problem resolution in accounts payable and accounts receivable areas• Support management in the creation and maintenance of the company operating budget• Assist with banking and credit card reconciliations and monthly balance sheet statements• Support the month-end close process and maintain schedule• Prepare monthly actual vs budget reporting for upper management• Assist in the creation of manufacturing and project profit and loss statements• Assist with the annual and bi-annual physical inventory process.
