We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the agriculture industry, based in Kearney, Nebraska. In this role, you will manage vendor invoices, ensure accurate billing, and maintain effective communication with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process vendor invoices with precision
- Maintain and organize financial records in support of general AP functions
- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with tasks related to insurance billing
- Maintain a systematic approach to coding invoices to the relevant accounts
- Utilize skills in accounting software and Microsoft Office for data entry and account reconciliation
- Leverage software like Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite for efficient invoice processing and check runs
- Support the team in dealing with outstanding invoices and payments.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk position or similar role
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
- Strong Data Entry skills
- Familiarity with Invoice Processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle software
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Familiarity with SAP
- Experience in handling Vendor Contacts
- Understanding of Billing and Billing Functions
- Proficiency in using NetSuite software
- Applicants should have a background in the Agriculture industry
