This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices using QuickBooks Desktop• Matching invoices with corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents• Securing necessary approvals prior to payment processing • Preparing and executing check runs and electronic payments• Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of any discrepancies• Maintenance of organized and current AP files and records• Assistance with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable• Effective communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries• Support of other accounting tasks and special projects as needed.
