Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our location in Morrow, Georgia, 30260, United States. This role is pivotal in the distribution industry, where you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing our accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring all communications are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Handling invoice management, including matching, coding and entering vendor invoices into the system.
• Ensuring proper processing of vendor invoices, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitoring purchase orders and ensuring they are correctly matched with corresponding invoices.
• Taking charge of filing duties, ensuring all payable invoices are organized and easily accessible.
• Performing regular scans of invoices to maintain digital records.
• Undertaking the responsibility of keeping track of all payable invoices.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
• Ability to effectively code invoices.
• Proficiency in entering vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
• Experience in processing vendor invoices, including verification and reconciliation tasks.
• Skilled in scanning invoices and maintaining digital records.
• Demonstrable experience in managing payable invoices, ensuring all payments are made on schedule.
