Billing / Accounts Receivable specialist needed! Immediate contract opportunity available for an Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist whose main focus will be on various facets of the billing function.

Your Chief Responsibilities Will Include

• Implementing, improving, and maintaining efficient billing systems and processes to ensure the effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all billings to customers, minimizing inaccuracies and delays.
• Conducting comprehensive billing reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies swiftly and accurately.
• Creating, analyzing, and presenting reports related specifically to the billing function, providing clear insights to senior management.
• Collaborating with the sales and customer service departments to swiftly resolve issues causing billing errors or delays in payment.
• Monitoring changes in customer credit status and accurately reflecting any modifications in the billing system.
• Identifying and addressing problematic areas and inefficiencies in billing practices and procedures, implementing necessary changes.
• Adhering firmly to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements concerning billing and receivables.
• Managing and resolving customer queries about invoices and payments promptly and efficiently.
  
  
  

This role is specifically designed for someone who excels in the area of billing, and it carries no supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will be able to function effectively and ambitiously in an independent capacity

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency in accounting functions.
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Familiarity with billing functions, including the management of chargebacks.
• Proficiency in using GPAC and Accounting software.
• Experience in handling daily cash receipts and performing cash reconciliations.
• Proven ability to manage cash posting procedures.
• Experience in conducting month-end close procedures.
