About the Role:
Accounts Receivable Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manages and supervises accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely/accurate billing, collections, and cash flow optimization through aging report oversight
- Develops and maintains customer relationships to resolve disputes, ensure on-time payments, and address billing discrepancies
- Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance accounts receivable (i.e., AR) efficiency, accuracy, and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (i.e., DSO)
- Prepares and presents financial summaries to senior leadership and supports audit compliance
- Collaborates with the Project Management staff to track billing progress and ensure they are informed when invoicing reaches the contractual percentage thresholds
- Provides timely updates to Project Management regarding billing milestones to support financial planning and contract compliance
- Reconciles customer portals against AR aging reports to resolve discrepancies and ensure payment accuracy
- Implements automation tools to streamline inefficiencies across AR and project financial processes
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- High degree of accuracy, diligence, and an aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (i.e., GAAP) and financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Great Plains, etc.)
Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
