We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring payments, and resolving discrepancies. This role plays a key part in maintaining cash flow and ensuring that all customer accounts are up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Generation: Create and send invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Payment Collection: Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, proactively communicating with customers to secure payments and resolve any payment issues.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring that all payments are properly applied, and investigate any discrepancies or disputes.
- Cash Application: Process incoming payments, ensuring they are accurately recorded and matched to the appropriate invoices.
- Customer Communication: Provide excellent customer service by addressing payment inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Credit Management: Assist in the management of credit limits for customers, evaluating credit risk and reporting concerns to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on accounts receivable aging, collections, and payment trends for management review.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve issues related to billing, payment disputes, or account information.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
