The benefits administrator will design and implement the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. The benefits administrator will routinely research alternative benefits programs, implement enhancements to current programs, and oversee all general tasks associated with benefits administration. If you are a skilled benefits administrator looking for a rewarding work environment, this may be the role for you.Major responsibilities- Monitor daily benefits processing- Coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)- Manage relationships with all our service providers- Direct enrollments and determine employee eligibility- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration- Collaborate and maintain professional communication with accounting department- Create benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.- Help employees understand their benefit options- Maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes- Keep appraised of employee benefits plans and vendors- Help organization to comply with applicable government regulations
