Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Syracuse client of his that has a newly created Accounts Receivable position. This role is about 50% AR and the rest is general accounting. The AR is more accounting focused vs doing collections. There's great work life balance here and opportunity for growth. Responsibilities to include:• Maintain accurate customer credit records• Address and resolve customer queries and issues• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations• Analyze trends in receivables and propose recommendations to improve cash flow• Assist with month-end closing activities, such as journal entries and reconciliations• Contribute to the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to accounts receivable and general accounting• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts receivable processes• Reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
