You’ll play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, assisting with financial reporting, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining a balance that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally.Key Responsibilities:*Assist the Controller in managing financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and internal controls.*Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.*Help manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.*Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with company goals.*Support tax filings and regulatory compliance activities, working closely with external auditors and tax professionals.*Help drive process improvements in accounting and reporting procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.*Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights on variances, trends, and financial performance.*Assist with cash flow management and recommend improvements to working capital management.*Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and optimize operational performance.*Mentor and guide junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.*Take ownership of special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or working toward certification preferred).3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant role.Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and budgeting.Experience with financial software and Excel; familiarity with accounting systems (ERP experience a plus).Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings to non-financial stakeholders.High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.Desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges within an entrepreneurial company.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
