Assistant Project Manager

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Assistant Project Manager in the transport industry, located in Pompano Beach, Florida. The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in developing comprehensive project scopes, supporting project coordination, preparing project documentation, facilitating stakeholder communication, and ensuring quality assurance.Responsibilities• Lead the development of detailed project scopes, ensuring they align with project objectives, technical requirements, and transport industry best practices.• Provide support to Project Managers in coordinating project activities, ensuring clear communication of work scopes and understanding of stakeholder roles and responsibilities.• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, timelines, and resource allocation plans.• Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.• Review and revise project scopes to ensure compliance with the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.• Assist in managing and directing third-party contractors engaged in maintenance or capital work.• Support the coordination with other departments within the organization, including Procurement, Operations, Planning & Capital Development, and Finance.• Assist in coordinating with external agencies, such as FDOT, state & local government agencies, and various municipalities.• Help manage projects, project schedules, and budgets with other team members in the Operations Department.
