We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the healthcare industry, based in Mission Viejo, California. In this role, you will be expected to manage all aspects of our accounting department, provide audit support, and ensure the timely closing of books.Responsibilities:• Directly manage the accounting department to ensure efficient operations• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) to maintain financial control• Conduct regular auditing activities to ensure compliance and accuracy• Utilize Sage Intacct software for various financial operations• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting• Generate and present monthly financial reports to inform strategic decision-making• Provide comprehensive support during audit processes• Manage a team of 8 staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.• Experience managing an external audit
