We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the R& D industry, at our location in Everett, Washington. This on-site role will require the Controller to manage a small team and utilize NetSuite and Excel software for various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing
- Coordinate and execute the close process efficiently
- Supervise staff accountants and work closely with the finance manager and CFO
- Utilize your experience in manufacturing and hardwire
- Conduct balance sheet account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
- Supervise and participate in cash flow analysis and forecasts
- Manage the month-end close process
- Ensure compliance with CPA standards and regulations
- Oversee the preparation of journal entries
- Manage the company's budget processes.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position
- Proficiency in Accounting Functions
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in Auditing
- Familiarity with Budget Processes
- Background in the Manufacturing industry is desirable
- CPA certification required
- Proficiency in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries
- Expertise in Account Reconciliation
- Experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
- Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
- Experience in creating Cash Flow Forecasts
- Ability to manage Month End Close processes
