As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the finance and accounting departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. Your responsibilities in this role
- Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
- Analyze financial budgets and track expenses
- Assist with administrative duties as necessary
- Own daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
- Assist Accounting team in the creation and editing of financial documents
- Settle financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
- Design the bookkeeping processes of the company
