What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Specialist position at Robert Half?
We are hiring Level 2 Helpdesk Technician to provide advanced technical support in a Microsoft-based environment, troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for issues related to Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), Active Directory, and other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Resolve escalated support tickets from Level 1 technicians efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
- Support the deployment, configuration, and updates of Microsoft and third-party applications.
- Monitor system performance and provide support for basic server-related issues.
- Support network connectivity issues, including VPN and wired/wireless networks.
