Are you a bilingual HR professional with a passion for supporting a diverse workforce? We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential HR functions, primarily focusing on payroll processing, onboarding, offboarding, and supporting employees with various HR-related matters. Fluency in Spanish is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing:
  • Review and process payroll for approximately 160 employees through ADP.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions, including calculations for taxes, deductions, and overtime.
  1. Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and assisting with paperwork.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination documentation.
  1. I-9 Compliance:
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with Form I-9 requirements, including accurate record-keeping and verification of employee eligibility to work in the United States.
  1. Disability Claims:
  • Assist employees with disability claims, providing guidance on the claims process and necessary documentation.
  • Liaise with insurance providers and employees to ensure smooth processing of claims.
  1. Benefits and Leave of Absence (LOA):
  • Provide support and information to employees regarding benefits programs.
  • Ideally, possess knowledge of LOA administration to assist employees with leave requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing is a must.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of leave of absence (LOA) policies and procedures is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
