We are inviting applications for the role of HR Generalist, based in Davenport, Florida. The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of HR functions, including recruitment support, benefits administration, and payroll, among others. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Efficiently process recruitment tasks such as posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding processes
- Coordinate training schedules for new hires and prepare necessary paperwork
- Manage and resolve employee inquiries related to benefits plans and assist with enrollment processes
- Collect and verify payroll data and assist with payroll processing
- Answer and address general employee questions and concerns, while also communicating company updates
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and preparing reports
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive employee data is maintained at all times
- Use HR management systems and Microsoft Office Suite proficiently
- Understand and adhere to employment laws and HR best practices.
- Knowledge of Paylocity a plus.
- Must be able to handle Benefit Functions effectively.
- Strong Communication skills are necessary.
- Compliance expertise is a must.
- Should have good Employee Relations skills.
- Familiarity with FMLA is required.
- Experience with Paylocity is preferable.
