We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in New Castle, Delaware. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and involves key HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Streamline and manage the recruitment process, including sourcing potential candidates
- Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of compensation and benefits documentation
- Ensure the maintenance of electronic records of employees
- Support various HR operations including Payroll, Benefits, and Recruitment
- Conduct training sessions and seminars to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Assist in the compilation and analysis of HR reports and data
- Administer the onboarding process for new employees
- Perform other administrative HR functions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Proficient in Recruitment and Sourcing strategies
- Solid understanding of Compensation and Benefits structures
- Demonstrated ability in Human Resources Administration
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
