We are seeking a Medical Billing Lead to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a Medical Billing Lead, you will be responsible for various aspects of the medical billing process, including processing claims, understanding billing codes, and working with patients and external teams. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity.Responsibilities:• Training new employees on each position and their respective responsibilities• Processing, reviewing, and submitting medical claims• Keeping up to date with billing codes and their applications• Ensuring accurate patient account records are maintained• Handling patient inquiries and setting up payment plans• Following up on accounts and filing appeals as necessary• Collaborating with our overseas team on outsourced billing tasks• Assisting with phone coverage as needed• Understanding and applying knowledge of insurance benefits and claim administration.
