Payroll Coordinator

Salary: $60000.00 to $70000.00 yearly

Our client located in the Greenway Plaza area of Houston, TX is seeking a Payroll Administrator. The Payroll Administrator must have 3 years of full cycle Payroll experience. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for being the liaison between the employee's and the third-party payroll vendor, verifying timesheets, PTO, and employee information is correct. Experience using Deltek and Workday would be a HUGE plus. This is a direct hire opportunity paying 60-70K plus benefits working in office 100%.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with employees and the third-party payroll vendor to ensure smooth operations
• Verify timesheets, Paid Time Off (PTO), and other employee information for accuracy
• Handle full cycle payroll operations in a timely and efficient manner
• Use Microsoft Excel, Deltek, and Workday for various payroll tasks
• Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
• Monitor all employee accounts and make necessary updates as required
• Work closely with other teams to improve payroll and HR processes
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
• Experience with Deltek and Workday payroll systems is essential
• Must have knowledge and experience in executing full cycle payroll
• Familiarity with payroll regulations and procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all payroll transactions
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with employees and management regarding payroll-related queries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is preferred
• Detail oriented certification in Payroll Management would be an advantage
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
