Procurement Analyst

Salary: $35.00 to $38.00 hourly

Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and effective communication for regulatory compliance.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate suppliers to meet regulatory requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers in the context of the project.
• Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to potential suppliers in context of testing and sampling.
• Collaborate with suppliers on various aspects such as labeling, specifications, manufacturing process flows, coding, Inspection plans, Drawings, Process Risks, Equipment, and capability, Validations, etc.
• Oversee sampling, testing, or product transfers as needed to maintain supply security.
• Work jointly with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve problems and ensure timely solutions.
• Coordinate internally and externally to ensure a smooth transition if product transfers are needed.
• Resolve any drawing-related issues with suppliers.
• Manage ERP to match supplier and regulatory approval status.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory for effective collaboration and negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analytics.
• Demonstrated ability in planning and managing complex planning processes.
• Must possess strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex data.
• Knowledge of materials handling procedures and regulations.
• Understanding of finance principles, particularly in relation to pricing and procurement.
• Leadership skills are essential, despite the role being an individual contributor position.
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for efficient business process management.
• Knowledge of security principles to ensure the secure handling of data and materials.
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines related to sourcing and procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively deal with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Engineering knowledge is a plus for understanding product specifications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Basic coding skills for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience in dealing with suppliers, including negotiation and issue resolution.
• Ability to understand and work with product specifications.
• Proven problem-solving skills to effectively resolve issues.
• Knowledge of labeling procedures and regulations.
