This role is within the construction industry and will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring financial records, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, and performing various accounting functions.Responsibilities:• Manage project files, budgets, and purchase orders while ensuring appropriate documentation and coding.• Perform certified payroll processing tasks, a crucial aspect of this role.• Handle monthly billings, keep a record of change orders, reconcile payments, and oversee receivables.• Generate various financial reports such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and job cost.• Monitor cash flow and calculate any discrepancies in the budget.• Ensure compliance with contracts, payroll requirements, tax classifications, and insurance policies.• Utilize accounting software systems such as Sage Intacct, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Excel in daily operations.• Apply and leverage your knowledge of accounting functions and auditing principles in the construction industry context.
