Proposal Manager

Duration: 3-month contract
Pay rate: $40-$45/hr
Overview:
The Proposal Manager will be working with a team of 2 other Proposal Managers and 1 team lead. They will also work independently with Capture managers, writers, and subject matter experts to develop the proposal, and with other organizations in our company like sales, capture, solutions, to complete the proposal.
Position background:
- Coordinate, manage, and lead proposal process for State Government opportunities.
- Manage all aspects of the proposal process including scheduling, outsourcing, meetings, draft reviews, quality, graphics, and production.
- Develop, organize, and manage proposal management process using MS Excel.
- Bring together all stakeholders associated with the pursuit in order to submit a winning proposal package.
- Own the proposal process and work closely with Capture Managers, Sales Leaders, Product Subject Matter Experts, and Writers.
- Collaborate with other internal organizations to develop proposal content.
- Responsible for ensuring our RFP responses are timely, strategic, of high quality, and meet the need of our current and future customers.
- Ensure proposal compliance with RFP requirements.
- Conduct reviews of the proposal work with team members to review proposal content, provide feedback, and guidance for changes.
- The abilities to manage and communicate at all levels, meet tight deadlines, commitment to teamwork, detailed follow-through, and a positive demeanor are essential keys to success in this role.
Requirements:
- Proposal management background
- 5 years of State or federal proposal experience
- State agency and/or federal agency background with RFP support
- Health care technology background
- Shipley experience, APMP experience, detail-oriented, and ability to lead a proposal team are some nice-to-haves
