What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Robert Half?
We have multiple clients in Augusta, GA who are hiring Staff and Sr Accountants. The ideal candidates will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, some forecasting and budgeting, and financial statement preparation and analysis. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
- 3 years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA/CPA preferred
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
