We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Seguin, Texas. The role is integral to our operations, with a focus on providing accounting support across various areas of the business. You will be responsible for assisting in month-end closing processes, account reconciliations, and fixed assets management, among other duties. Responsibilities:• Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.• Undertake account reconciliations routinely to ascertain the correctness of all accounting entries.• Provide support in managing fixed assets and keeping track of their depreciation.• Contribute to internal and external audits by preparing necessary documents and facilitating the audit process.• Participate in special projects, applying general accounting principles to ensure financial accuracy.• Prepare monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations, as well as account analysis.• Assist with bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of bank balances and transactions.• Review and improve current Accounting Policies & Procedures in collaboration with the Assistant Controller.• Use research tools to stay updated on new accounting standards and implement additional processes to align financials with generally accepted accounting principles.• Participate in the management of sales tax, property tax, and franchise tax.• Provide variance and profitability analysis as directed by management.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
