Sr. Accountant

A Robert Half Management Resources client is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant for a consultancy role. This position entails taking responsibility for executing a mixture of assignments, including end-of-month and end-of-quarter duties. Main responsibilities include creating recurring journal entries for varied schemes such as sales true-up, warranty accruals, repair accruals, intercompany FX amendments, notes payable, freight rebills, and expenses allocations, among other related duties. The role is estimated at 2 months and is 100% on site in San Diego.This role will also require a keen eye for detail for conducting comprehensive monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting. Successful performance in this position involves consolidation of Balance sheets with multiple international entities, particularly Amsterdam, Japan, and Mexico, and creating well-rounded month-to-date and year-to-date cash flows reviews.Additionally, the role entails analyzing Operating Expenses, targeting specific sections for monthly commentary for the board of directors. You will also be accountable for managing non-recurring journal entries throughout the proceeding month.The candidate should ideally be highly organized with exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively. Extensive knowledge and experience working with international financial entities spanning Australia, Mexico and Canada is a prerequisite.

Salary : $49 - $57
