Sr. Cost Accountant

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Cost Accountant in Chanhassen. In this role, you will be immersed in the manufacturing industry, focusing on tasks such as variance analysis, ERP system transactions, and ensuring detailed and accurate records. Responsibilities:• Conducting detailed analysis of ERP system transactions• Reviewing and ensuring accurate labor and material application in work in progress• Executing month end GL reconciliation and closing of ERP system modules• Processing inventory adjustments and cost corrections as necessary• Assisting in the quotation process for new products• Tracking capital expenditures and entering depreciation entries• Conducting weekly cycle count audits and assisting in biannual physical inventory processes• Utilizing skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Auditing, Budget Processes, Cost Accounting, and Cost Analysis
