Staff Accountant

We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in KAMUELA, Hawaii. This role is vital to manage and maintain the financial integrity of our grant-related projects. The Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with funding agreements, preparing accurate financial reports, and tracking expenditures to stay aligned with grant budgets. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.Responsibilities:• Ensure compliance with funding agreements• Prepare and present accurate financial reports• Track expenditures to align with grant budgets• Reconcile accounts regularly• Analyze financial data for accuracy and relevance• Liaise with program and finance teams to support grant-funded initiatives• Utilize accounting software to streamline processes• Knowledge of federal grant regulations is beneficial• Manage accounts payable and receivable• Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and journal entries• Assist with month-end close processes• Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is beneficial.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
