SUMMARY:
Material Planner I is responsible for the Production Planning of finished goods as well as for the procurement of raw materials needed to support the business. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize MRP to create and maintain workorders for both liquids and flavor compounds.
- Utilize Fulfillment Workbench to create and maintain dispensing jobs
- Determine optimal min/max levels and restocking points to maintain appropriate inventory.
- Review inventory levels for excess / write offs / blend backs.
- Work with rabbinical services and I-Kosher as required.
- Review and Maintain Master data for all relevant Planning aspects.
- Support All Sample Lab Projects/Library Requirements.
- Provide Support/Communication for all Internal Teams.
- Run and utilize Pegging Report to Communicate Planning Issues to Internal Teams.
- Cross-functional departmental meetings, as assigned.
- Participate in Process Improvement Projects for all aspects of the Planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
- BS with manufacturing knowledge and previous planning experience of 2-5 years
- 3 years of manufacturing environments and knowledgeable in ORACLE
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office work environment with occasional trips to and from the warehouse and production areas.
- The individual may be exposed to elevated room temperatures and above average noise levels in the manufacturing environments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Demands expected of a typical office environment is the normal expectation
- The ability to perform in a manufacturing area as needed is a rare necessity but required.
