Robinson Investments Ltd. is looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician in the Marysville, OH South Region. Facilities Maintenance Technicians perform preventative and corrective maintenance to keep our facilities in optimal condition and ensure our tenants have a safe, comfortable, and productive space. They will be responding to tenant service requests, work orders, general building maintenance repairs, internal & external repairs including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC & electrical systems, interior finishes, roofing, grounds keeping, landscaping, and equipment.
The Essential Functions of the position are as follows:
- Observe and enforce all safety regulations and practices.
- Complete all maintenance & repairs as directed by Facilities Management.
- Perform continuous inspections of the property, building structures, and their systems, to provide recommendations for repair/replacement to management.
- Troubleshoot to replace or repair defective components on buildings and installed systems.
- Complete repairs to interior finishes including floor covering, drywall, painting, suspended ceilings, and tiles.
- Utilize standard and special purpose tools & equipment.
- Service and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Provide assistance with construction projects, expansions, and tenant improvements.
- Maintain project timelines and coordinate schedules with vendors.
- Install and replace building equipment & specialties.
- Complete documentation of work orders, preventative maintenance, and inspection logs.
- Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors via verbal, written, and electronic methods.
- Perform general landscaping and groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, mulching, plowing/shoveling snow, and cleaning debris from the property.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections of fire suppression systems.
- Develop and maintain positive relations with clients, tenants, and vendors.
- Respond timely to emergency situations 24/7/365 and be able to evaluate and take corrective action.
- Monitor and document service contracts for waste management and pest control.
- Mentor, train, and share technical expertise with co-workers.
- Other duties as required or assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Desired Skills and Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum of 3 years commercial maintenance experience and/or trade school certificate in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC
- Knowledgeable with concrete, carpentry, roofing, electrical, and mechanical trades
- Familiar with commercial/warehouse equipment and building components
- OSHA certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints & building schematics
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suites
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically think, using logic and reasoning to identify solutions or approaches to problems
- Competent in mathematics
