POSITION SUMMARY: Provides academic support for Early College (EC) students and program support to the Director of Early College. RCU seeks applicants and nominations who will support the Early College Program. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, relational, and can work collaboratively across departments and with students in high school and college. They will eagerly execute the vision of the EC program and RCU to eliminate barriers to higher education by providing equitable access and comprehensive support to all students, including those from marginalized backgrounds, who may not have pursued higher education otherwise.

Education And/Or Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience working in K-12 preferred
Academic Student Support
- Perform registration and advising functions for early college
- Monitor student progress and SOS reports
- Assist EC director in:
- Providing district counselors with information on academic student progress.
- Regularly reviewing and revising core Early College curriculum as needed.
- Confirming Early College billing.
- Coordinating textbook ordering with school districts.
- Plans events that support Early College program recruiting and community building.
- Attend Early College conferences.
- Collaborate with admissions and the office of the registrar regarding admissions and transcript processes unique to early college.
- Promote an inclusive Rochester through the demonstration of our Diversity Statement. Participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion both individually and as related to my field of work, profession, or discipline.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work cooperatively with administrators and other staff
- Desire to improve the quality of education provided to all students
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive change and achieve results
- Ability to define problems, analyze data, and outline valid conclusions and action steps
- Some knowledge of CTE, Early College, Small Learning Community, and Workforce Development best practices preferred
