Role Description
This is a contract role for a Licensed Master Social Worker. The role is hybrid, based in Nyack, NY, with some work from home acceptable. The Licensed Master Social Worker will provide therapeutic services to a diverse client base, using various treatment modalities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, and maintaining accurate documentation of client progress. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Behavior Modification
- Proficiency in conducting client assessments and developing treatment plans
- Strong skills in individual and group therapy sessions
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and current licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Previous experience in a community-based or clinical setting is preferred
