Job Description: Heavy Vehicle and Machinery Mechanic

We are looking for a highly trained mechanic to join our team, focused on the repair and maintenance of heavy machinery, trucks, box trucks, trailers and diesel engines. We specialize in working with brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Hino, among others. This position requires a professional committed to quality, who gets involved in each repair and guarantees exceptional work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and mechanical repairs on trucks, trailers, box trucks and heavy machinery, ensuring that each piece of equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Work with recognized brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Hino, following the technical standards of each manufacturer.
• Repair and maintain brake systems, suspension, transmission, air systems, electrical systems and other essential components.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and routine repairs to avoid mechanical failures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper resolution of mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace, meeting safety and work efficiency standards.
• Collaborate with team on physical tasks, such as handling and lifting heavy objects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, box trucks, and heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Hino.
• Basic electrical skills, including electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting of heavy vehicle electrical systems.
• Mastery of the use of hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to perform all types of mechanical repairs, except engine rebuilding.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to perform high-quality work.
• Strong ability to work in a dynamic environment and maintain organization under pressure.
• Physical condition to perform tasks that include lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
