High School Academic Support Teacher

Recruiting for 25-26 school year. Position would start July 29, 2025.

Job Description: The teacher will help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God. Able to work effectively with a variety of exceptionalities. Teach all subjects assigned with skills to motivate and focus students to obtain an effective learning environment for students. Skill set to individualize course instruction to meet the students needs and able to modify and adjust modifications as the student responds. Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities. Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide for creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional.

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Special Education, preferred or have obtained a Bachelors degree that includes 18 semester credit hours in education or special education. Must complete the Philosophy of Christian Education requirement. Demonstrates proficiency in the computer programs used in classroom. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Database software. Ability to use technology in lesson plans, such as projector, iPads, and online videos. Proficiency in Promethean desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
