Job Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Landscape Construction General Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting in the installation of landscaping projects, including irrigation, dirt work, trees/shrubs, sod, rock, hardscape etc. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, and is eager to learn and grow in the landscaping industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of landscape construction
- Install sprinkler systems, dirt grade, trees/shrub planting, sod installation, flower bed installation
- Load, unload, and transport materials such as top soil, rock, pavers, and sod.
- Operate hand tools and small machinery such as shovels, rakes, compactors, and skid steers (if trained).
- Install plants, trees, and shrubs according to landscape designs.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on time.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Previous landscaping or construction experience preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
- Team Player: Willingness to work cooperatively with a crew and take direction from supervisors.
- License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating landscape equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, etc.).
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
