We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Seasonal Farm Worker - Organic Research Program. In this role, you will play a critical part in our research efforts, assisting in the maintenance of our orchards and berry fields, and contributing to the establishment of new research plots.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and care for our orchards and berry fields
- Assist in the establishment of new research plots
- Conduct ongoing plant-care activities, including pruning, watering, and mulching
- Prepare and apply organic fertilizers
- Participate in fieldwork, including planting, harvesting, mowing, and weed-eating
- Assist with U-Pick activities as needed
- Maintain records of Organic and GAP practices
- Assist other departments as needed
