We are a high-volume Center City Philadelphia plaintiff personal injury law firm looking for dependable, enthusiastic, and bright individuals to work closely with the firm's managing attorneys and paralegals, while gaining invaluable experience in the proper handling of a wide variety of cases in Complex Civil Litigation.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Currently in good standing with the State Bar (PA required and NJ preferred)
-Three to Five years of litigation experience.
-Understanding of how to research and find the law (cases and statutes)
-Basic experience in writing briefs, motions, and other pleadings
-Excellent communication, research and writing skills
-Excellent negotiation and mediation skills
-Desire to take ownership of files and move them forward towards settlement or trial without cutting corners
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Handle and manage caseload, including litigation
-Formulate strategy for legal action
-Prepare pleadings, discovery, demands and responses
-Handle depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and motion work
