Competent Sandblaster/Industrial Painter
- Must have strong knowledge and experience in Sandblasting
- Safe use of blast equipment
- Fault finding/Repair of blast equipment
- Knowledge of compressor operation
- Working safely in an industrial environment and around machinery
- Works overtime, nights and/or weekends as requested.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment.
Advantageous to have the following
- Knowledge in the use of certain tools such as wet mil gauge, dry mil gauge, airless spray gun, cup gun, pressure washing, hand sander and blasting nozzle.
- 2 component application, mixing, thinning
- Plural pump operation and spraying
- Air driven airless experience
- Log Home blasting experience
- OSHA 10-30
- Trailer towing experience
- Mechanical skills, hand tool use
- Epoxy flooring experience
Minimum requirements
- Work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
- Travel may be required to customer sites to perform modifications and maintenance of equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license required when operating a company vehicle
- Must be able to successfully pass all pre-employment testing (drug test, physical, audiogram, pulmonary function test, respiratory fit test) in addition to random drug and alcohol testing.
