POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility for the Project Coordinator will be to support various activities, from delivery of the engineering documents/drawings, internal documentation, submittals, materials, & schedule through the execution of the work and shipment of the Method Flow products to site. Traditionally, it focuses on internal coordination of activities across multiple groups to aid project management, engineering, and administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist project team with creating and maintaining various key project documents, including schedules, meeting correspondence, engineering change management, and contract documents internally & externally within contractors or intercompany orders (i.e., Method Flow projects).
- Assist project team in coordinating bid kickoff meetings, bid schedule management, & proposal submittals to clients.
- Assist project team in coordinating the schedule and delivery of the engineering documentation/drawings and materials to the manufacturing floor. This includes scheduling kickoff meetings with department leads.
- Assist project team in communication with clients on schedule
- Manage submittals to client. These may include long lead lists, approval drawing sets, requests for change orders, schedule, etc.
- Assist project team in managing red lines and as-builts returning from the manufacturing floor.
- Assist project team in managing quality control checklists and documentation returning from the manufacturing floor.
- Coordinate with clients for shipping finished product to site/location. This includes communicating with clients for location, contact, & receiving hours. Assist in scheduling trucks/shipments as needed.
- Submit and assist in generating job books for submittal to client upon completion of project.
- Coordinate and maintain notes on post-mortem project meetings.
- Submit and maintain state submittal documentation to appropriate state authorities as needed for manufactured product as required.
- Manage purchased cable as needed for projects.
- Develop standard operating procedures for listed responsibilities for project team.
- Must follow training and company procedures.
- Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Must follow good housekeeping practices.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- At least three years of professional experience in engineering, procurement and manufacturing is required. It is strongly preferred that two (2) years of that experience be as a Project Engineer, resident Construction Engineer, Project Coordinator, or a related position.
- Demonstrated history of strategic and tactical goal setting and attainment.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and excellent presentation skills are required.
- Strong organization, leadership, negotiation, and delegation skills are required.
- Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with several diverse people, both on an individual basis as well as within group situations.
- Must be able to develop lasting, positive customer relationships based on focusing on customer satisfaction and obtaining the customer's trust.
- Strong financial background including operations budget development, cost control, and capital spending justification is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of contract laws, jobsite safety procedures, and purchasing practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required. Specifically, strong skills in using MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office and in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
