ROGERCO, Inc. (RCI) is seeking a Mid-Level Analyst with exceptional research and communication skills to join a team supporting a Navy contract in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include performing research and assessments of Congressional actions, issues and reports in order to identify their potential impact on the customer. Experience with research and strategy is highly desirable. This is an in-person position located in Washington, DC and requires a Secret security clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:
Research, monitor and assess Congressional special actions, reports and other areas of special interest and determine how these may affect the customer organization
Determine effective courses of action based on research findings
Support the customer in creating and implementing proactive strategies for engaging Congress in key subject areas
Qualifications
Location: Washington, DC
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years analyzing, researching and writing about Congressional actions required. Five (5) years of experience with defense acquisition desired.
Education: Bachelor's of Science in Political Science
Clearance: Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
Strong understanding of enactment processes for defense authorization and appropriation legislation, desirable
Experience with Department of Defense programs, particularly the Navy
Background in preparing briefing materials, background papers, legislative summaries and other written documents for senior leaders, a plus
Working knowledge of the Navy’s PPBE process
