Rogers Group, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill a position as a Mobile Mechanic for our heavy equipment & quarry operations across East TN. You will be based out of our operation in Oak Ridge, TN and be provided a service truck to travel where you're needed. This individual will be responsible for greasing and repairing mobile heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this role will have a strong emphasis on safety, be a self-starter and willing to learn new tasks, will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment; be familiar with CAT & Komatsu
- Operate and Maintain service truck and all associated tools (greasing, oil changes, etc.)
- Perform maintenance tasks as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Have problem solving mindset, understanding how to repair and prevent or prolong
- Previous maintenance experience preferred but not necessary
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform basic plant repairs as needed
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment maintenance manuals
- Ability to operate a man lift, telehandler, skid steer
- Experience in welding, cutting preferred
- Uncompromising dedication to safe work practices
- Experience operating a track drill, like an Epiroc D60 or similar preferred
- Experience operating a track drill for quarry production and stripping preferred
- Experience operating other heavy equipment, such as a dozer, excavator, or front-end loader preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate drill logs
- Ability to perform laborer and clean-up duties
- May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime work as necessary
- Ability to provide valid documentation for I9 residency requirements
- Valid driver’s license
