Job Overview
ROLLER DIE AND FORMING, a metal manufacturer and fabrication company located in Green Cove Springs, is seeking a full-time machine operator with experience running machines, roll lines, press brakes, roll mills, stamping, and/or industrial steel machines.

Schedule
First Shift: M-Fri 5 am-1:30 pm and additional overtime as needed.
Performance review at 90 days.
Duties
- Operate machines and other related equipment to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend or straighten metal or plastic material.
- Set up and adjust machinery based on specifications and blueprints. Also, read a tape measure and follow quality standards.
- You will be pushing, lifting and moving relatively heavy parts and will be on your feet all day
Position Requirements
- Standing, walking; repetitive movement; bending or twisting; exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable; exposure to heat (uncooled facility); exposure to contaminants and hazardous equipment; exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings; meeting strict deadlines; responsibility for the health and safety of others; and, wearing of protective or safety equipment; meet attendance standards
Qualifications
- Mechanical background/aptitude is required
- Must have basic problem-solving skills
- Must be able to read micrometers, calipers
- Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to understand basic math
- Reading and writing comprehension
Physical Abilities and Requirements
Visual and Hearing: Must be able to see with corrective eye wear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance, wearing hearing protection.
Lifting-must be able to lift 0-50 lbs and/or greater than 50 lbs with assistance, push up to 300 lbs
Must have reliable transportation and meet attendance standards.
Good attention to detail.
