We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team and lead our banquet staff in delivering outstanding service for events and special occasions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet and Club events, ensuring seamless execution from setup to breakdown.
- Hire, lead and train banquet staff, ensuring adherence to high service standards.
- Oversee table settings, food presentation, and beverage service to uphold club standards.
- Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized banquet area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering as needed.
- Ensure all events run on schedule and adjust as necessary for an optimal guest experience.
- Prepares and reviews table diagrams, guest tables and set-up needs for special functions.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Banquet Captain, Banquet Supervisor, or similar leadership role in hospitality.
- Prior bartending experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette and best practices.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
