Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, versatile VP, Marketing with a passion for storytelling, innovation, and team leadership. This role will report directly to the National Managing Director and requires a motivated self-starter who is excited to support the strategic vision of the Blue Trust Executive Leadership Team. This individual will lead a small, talented team and drive all aspects of our marketing efforts-from content and digital strategy to video production, web presence, and more.

The VP, Marketing provides overall vision, leadership, strategy, and execution of all marketing, branding, and communication programs and initiatives of the organization, with the ultimate goal of positioning the company to be the Advisor of Choice and Employer of Choice within its market niche.

Develops an end-to-end marketing function that delivers messaging, branding, digital presence, product support, demand generation, content, research, and thought leadership.Partners with line of business leaders to ensure marketing programs and expenditures support company revenue and growth objectives.Builds and develops the teams and technology required to collect, test, measure, and analyze marketing metrics necessary to identify trends in the marketplace, program effectiveness, and client behavior.Identifies potential markets, customer segments, and products to explore.Works with Executive Leadership Team to define and develop corporate vision and strategy as it relates to marketing initiatives.Executes multiple high impact initiatives to achieve overall corporate goals.Key Responsibilities

Content & Messaging :

Oversee the development of engaging, high-quality content across various platforms that reflects Blue Trust's brand and values. Craft messaging that resonates with both internal and external audiences.Digital Marketing & Web Strategy :

Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, and overall web strategy to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion. Manage our website's content, functionality, and performance.Social Media & Community Engagement :

Develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand voice and enhance customer engagement. Champion our message and create campaigns that foster positive interactions.Email Marketing : Oversee the email marketing strategy, ensuring high engagement and personalization. Collaborate with sales teams to develop campaigns that support lead generation and nurturing.Video & Multimedia Content :

Ensure our visual content remains fresh, on-brand, and impactful.Analytics & Performance Monitoring :

Use data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, track key performance indicators, and optimize strategies. Prepare regular reports for leadership to communicate successes and identify opportunities.Collaboration, Team Leadership, & Management :

Sincerely values people and applies the principles embodied in the Company's Management Language to lead Marketing, Communications, & Branding team in a manner that respects and values each individual while accomplishing department's objectives.o Develops and implements both near and longer-term goals in keeping with Company's objectives

and strategies.

o Approaches work, interactions, and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company's

o Leads team in a manner that is consistent with Company's Management Language, leadership principles and

values.

o Hires, manages, and trains departmental team members to effectively meet current and future departmental

objectives.

o Understands the financial planning philosophy and biblical basis upon which Blue Trust serves its client base

and applies these principles in personal finances.

Requirements

Marketing Expertise :

7 years in a marketing leadership role, with hands-on experience across content, video, digital marketing, social media, email, and web. Knowledge of the wealth management or financial services industry is preferred.Leadership Skills :

Proven leader with excellent people skills and experience managing a small, multi-functional marketing team. Ability to inspire and motivate, balancing both strategic oversight and hands-on contributions. Ability to excel in a team environment and manage both projects and people.High Energy & Passion for the Brand :

Enthusiastic about Blue Trust's mission and values, with the charisma and energy to engage and inspire both team members and clients. Proven experience building brand awareness within Christian and faith-forward communities and centers of influence. Strong desire to serve with excellence.Analytical Mindset : Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and familiarity with marketing analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to leverage technologyStrategic Thinking, Planning, and Problem-Solving :

Adaptable, creative problem-solver who can pivot between big-picture strategy and tactical execution and implementation.Education :

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing preferredExcellent Communication Skills :

Strong ability to influence and communicate both verbally and in writing. Comfortable working with a high level of detail. Organized, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple time-sensitive tasks.
