Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business success. This location offers food and beverage, two bars and entertainment with ample outside seating in a family-friendly growth area of Southwest Florida. Assistant Managers typically will be required to and depended on to work weekends, and during peak hours of operation. This position can qualify for a $1000 sign on bonus
This position will work directly with and answers to the General Manager. This is a pivotal role in our day-to-day operation and a supervisory position important to establishing a positive work environment for the successful run of each shift. Effective floor management coverage ensures an overall positive guest experience and business image.
This key staff member must be focused and committed to managing operational duties including financial responsibilities, forecasting of sales and services, marketing in-house events, catering and community gatherings and entertainment options. Bar management experience, the ability to tend bar and familiarity with products and inventory would be beneficial.
The Assistant Manager will be a first-line support in the selection, interview practices, training and scheduling of all staff members. As a trusted keyholder you will also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive opening and closing shift duties. Training will ensure that you have access and knowledge of established tasks and analytics provided by Toast®
Your ability to take direction, work cohesively and to use management techniques to uphold standards and policy will be important, as will maximizing sales opportunities with high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Organization and communication skills increase efficiency leading to recognition and the reaching quarterly bonus goals.
PREFERRED APPLICANT GUIDELINES
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Related hospitality training, and educational seminars valued
· Professional Experience: Your front of house restaurant, bar or hospitality experience should be a minimum of two years with references available on request. Managers are typically ServSafe© certified.
