Position Summary
Responsibilities:
• Performs a range of tasks in support of the Accounts Payable Team, including preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts payable/receivable transactions.
• Pays vendor invoices and receives and posts customer payments in a timely manner.
• Maintains the databases, reports, and records necessary to support Accounts Payable/Receivable Team activities.
• Reconciles and maintains accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports.
• Performs analysis and reconciliations of bill runs for fraud detection.
• Ensures adherence to transaction entry verification procedures.
• Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail, and correspondence, maintaining professionalism.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all financial information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
• Requires regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. May involve working nights, weekends, and additional hours as needed.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required.
• Knowledge and experience in accounts payable/receivable processes, with the ability to coordinate activities for a team.
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in changing situations.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems, selecting solutions from established options.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
