Harvest Intern Job Description
We are a terroir-focused Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer seeking a harvest intern for the 2025 season.
Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our cellar and vineyards during one of the most dynamic times of the year. As a harvest intern, you will be an integral part of our small team, working closely with our winemaker to ensure a successful harvest.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive cleaning of equipment, tanks, barrels, and the facility.
- Assist in various vineyard work, fruit processing, sorting, destemming, pump overs, and other winemaking tasks.
- Topping and other general cellar work as needed.
- Monitoring fermentations.
- Other duties assigned by the winemaker.
Requirements:
- Full-time availability including early mornings, late nights, and weekends during harvest season (schedule flexibility required).
- Appreciation of teamwork.
- Previous cellar experience preferred.
- Punctual, reliable, and organized.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working on ladders.
- Initiative to ask questions and work well with others.
