Job Summary:
The Guest Navigator serves as the first point of contact for all individuals entering the Rose Andom Center. This role coordinates with community and system partners to ensure guest needs are met while maintaining security protocols. The position also involves responding to phone calls, providing information, and scheduling intake appointments.
Essential Functions:
Client Navigation
- Greet visitors, assess their needs, and assist them with in-building appointments.
- Conduct conflict checks for clients engaging with Rose Andom Center staff.
- Enforce building-wide security protocols while maintaining awareness of visitors.
- Utilize crisis-intervention techniques and trauma-informed practices to effectively communicate and resolve client concerns.
- Manage front desk operations by answering calls, responding to voicemails, and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Conduct and document outreach calls based on partner referrals.
- Assist clients in navigating the building and ensuring a comfortable waiting area experience.
- Arrange transportation for clients as needed.
- Screen client calls and direct them to intake services or external resources.
Administrative Duties
- Monitor and distribute incoming and outgoing mail from the PO Box.
- Enter client data and maintain tracking records in spreadsheets and databases.
- Keep interview rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming client waiting area, ensuring the space is organized at closing.
- Track and manage inventory of Rose Andom Center print materials, including brochures and flyers.
- Organize and distribute weekly food donation deliveries.
- Oversee building access through the badging system for partners and guest check-in procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
