What You'll Be Doing
As a Procurement Manager at Rose Paving, you will have the opportunity to produce high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. You will be responsible for supporting the sales effort by calculating job costing, procuring quotes from our subcontractor network, and building proposals for our sales team and customers
- Supporting our job costing process from start to finish.
- Work closely with sales and operations to develop a scope of work for projects that are both large and small.
- Build relationships and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Provide supporting bid documentation such as site maps, photos, and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and meet challenges with resourcefulness.
- Exhibit responsive communication skills to both internal and external customer questions.
- Working with different personalities, appreciating differing viewpoints and accepting constructive feedback.
- Occasionally, you will be on-site before, during or after our projects to help support the project managers and sales team.
- 2 years' experience in related field or recent college graduate
- Detail -orientated with a focus on structure and efficiency
- Working intermediate knowledge of MS Office, email, and CRM systems
- Possession of a valid driver's license with valid automobile insurance, good driving record.
- Goal focused- motivated by achieving clear and measurable outcomes
- The ability to travel on occasion within your market.
